Chevron Boxy Tote Bag

I have been wanting a cute little tote bag for the summer, so I went ahead and made one. I went to Joann's and picked the fabric I wanted and started sewing. It was extremely easy to make, thanks to a wonderful video I found on youtube (which I will link to below).

Materials:

• 1/2 yard of fabric (thick sturdy material would be preferred like home decoration fabric)
• 1 1/2 yards of any type of straps you want (cut it in half and each strap will be 27'
• Matching thread
• Sewing Machine
• Cardboard (to place on the bottom of your tote- this is optional)
